Hi Everyone….

I had to share this post with you from Jim Rohn it really made me think about many of the obstacles I have had to overcome to achieve the success and lifestyle I was looking for …
I loved the story of the butterfly it is such an interesting fact that I din’t know about
but also could relate this process to my life.

Which of these stories do you relate to the most and I would love if you could share a story of your
own on how you have succeed after adversity.

Cheers Chrissy

Obstacles Are the Stepping Stones of Success by Harvey Mackay
A man was walking in the park one day when he came upon a cocoon with a small opening. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It looked like it had gotten as far as it could, so the man decided to help the butterfly. He used his pocketknife and snipped the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily, but something was strange. The butterfly had a swollen body and shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected at any moment the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened. In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and deformed wings. It was never able to fly.

What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to emerge was natural. It was nature’s way of forcing fluid from its body into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom. Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives.

If we were allowed to go through life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. And we could never fly.

History has shown us that the most celebrated winners usually encountered heartbreaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeats.

My good friend Lou Holtz, football coach of the University of South Carolina, once told me, “Show me someone who has done something worthwhile, and I’ll show you someone who has overcome adversity.”

Beethoven composed his greatest works after becoming deaf. George Washington was snowed in through a treacherous winter at Valley Forge. Abraham Lincoln was raised in poverty. Albert Einstein was called a slow learner, retarded and uneducable. If Christopher Columbus had turned back, no one could have blamed him, considering the constant adversity he endured.

As an elementary student, actor James Earl Jones (a.k.a. Darth Vader) stuttered so badly he communicated with friends and teachers using written notes.

Itzhak Perlman, the incomparable concert violinist, was born to parents who survived a Nazi concentration camp and has been paralyzed from the waist down since the age of four.

Chester Carlson, a young inventor, took his idea to 20 big corporations in the 1940s. After seven years of rejections, he was able to persuade Haloid, a small company in Rochester, N.Y., to purchase the rights to his electrostatic paper-copying process. Haloid has since become Xerox Corporation.

Thomas Edison tried over 2,000 experiments before he was able to get his light bulb to work. Upon being asked how he felt about failing so many times, he replied, “I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2,000-step process.”

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, elected president of the United States for four terms, had been stricken with polio at the age of 39.

Persistence paid off for General Douglas MacArthur. After applying for admission to West Point twice, he applied a third time and was accepted. The rest is history.

In 1927 the head instructor of the John Murray Anderson Drama School instructed student Lucille Ball to “Try any other profession. Any other.”

Buddy Holly was fired from the Decca record label in 1956 by Paul Cohen, Nashville “Artists and Repertoire Man.” Cohen called Holly “the biggest no-talent I ever worked with.”

Academy Award-winning writer, producer and director Woody Allen failed motion picture production at New York University (NYU) and City College of New York. He also flunked English at NYU.

Helen Keller, the famous blind author and speaker, said: “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved. Silver is purified in fire and so are we. It is in the most trying times that our real character is shaped and revealed.”

Mackay’s Moral: There is no education like the university of adversity.

Hi Everyone….I just love this from Jim Rohn …..This is so true ….I have had to make some decisions on family and friends who I call stoppers and limit the amount of time that I spent with them…Now with my home business I’m surrounded by positive people that are motivated to live their life on their terms…and our Personal Development products have made a huge difference to the way I think.. So do you have some people in your life that are holding you back..What are you willing to do to live your dreams…

Jim Rohn says you become an average of the five people you associate with most. The people we spend our time with determine what conversations dominate our attention, and what observations, attitudes and opinions we repetitively are introduced to.

Spend your time with a team of high-achievers and you’ll be inspired to stretch for your next accomplishment, be it in your business, finances or personal agenda. On the converse, hang out with people who are “less than inspired” and you could quickly find yourself stagnant.

Evaluate and shift your associations into 3 categories:

1. Disassociation
There are some people you might need to break away from completely—these are negative, toxic people who infect you with their bad attitude. It’s difficult to ignore someone and their negative influences but doing so will put YOU in control of deciding the quality of life you want to have. Then surround yourself with the people who represent and support that vision.

2. Limited Associations
There are some people who you can spend three hours with, but not three days. Others you can spend three minutes with, but not three hours. Decide how much you can “afford” to be influenced, based on how those people represent themselves.

3. Expanded Associations
Whatever area of your life you want to see improvement in, find someone who represents the success you want, the parenting skills you want, the relationship you want, the lifestyle you want, and spend more time with those people. Join organizations, clubs, businesses and health clubs where these people are and make friends.

Decide who of your friends are the best influences and make more time for them; it’s an investment of time that will prove profitable.

Facing The Enemies Within
Jim Rohn
We are not born with courage, but neither are we born with fear. Maybe some of our fears are brought on by your own experiences, by what someone has told you, by what you’ve read in the papers. Some fears are valid, like walking alone in a bad part of town at two o’clock in the morning. But once you learn to avoid that situation, you won’t need to live in fear of it.

Fears, even the most basic ones, can totally destroy our ambitions. Fear can destroy fortunes. Fear can destroy relationships. Fear, if left unchecked, can destroy our lives. Fear is one of the many enemies lurking inside us.

Let me tell you about five of the other enemies we face from within. The first enemy that you’ve got to destroy before it destroys you is indifference. What a tragic disease this is. “Ho-hum, let it slide. I’ll just drift along.” Here’s one problem with drifting: you can’t drift your way to the top of the mountain.

The second enemy we face is indecision. Indecision is the thief of opportunity and enterprise. It will steal your chances for a better future. Take a sword to this enemy.

The third enemy inside is doubt. Sure, there’s room for healthy skepticism. You can’t believe everything. But you also can’t let doubt take over. Many people doubt the past, doubt the future, doubt each other, doubt the government, doubt the possibilities and doubt the opportunities. Worse of all, they doubt themselves. I’m telling you, doubt will destroy your life and your chances of success. It will empty both your bank account and your heart. Doubt is an enemy Go after it. Get rid of it.

The fourth enemy within is worry. We’ve all got to worry some. Just don’t let it conquer you. Instead, let it alarm you. Worry can be useful. If you step off the curb in New York City and a taxi is coming, you’ve got to worry. But you can’t let worry loose like a mad dog that drives you into a small corner. Here’s what you’ve got to do with your worries: drive them into a small corner. Whatever is out to get you, you’ve got to get it. Whatever is pushing on you, you’ve got to push back.

The fifth interior enemy is over-caution. It is the timid approach to life. Timidity is not a virtue; it’s an illness. If you let it go, it’ll conquer you. Timid people don’t get promoted. They don’t advance and grow and become powerful in the marketplace. You’ve got to avoid over-caution.

Do battle with the enemy. Do battle with your fears. Build your courage to fight what’s holding you back, what’s keeping you from your goals and dreams. Be courageous in your life and in your pursuit of the things you want and the person you want to become.

To Your Success,
Jim Rohn

The Top Six Ways to Stay Motivated
I receive many emails from people that basically ask the same question: How can I keep myself motivated long term? This seems to be quite a common dilemma for many people so I want to address it because it can be done! Here are my tips for staying motivated:

  1. Get motivated every day.
Zig Ziglar was once confronted about being a “motivational speaker.” The guy said to him, “You guys come and get people hyped up and then you leave and the motivation goes away. It doesn’t last, and then you have to get motivated again.” Zig reminded the gentleman that baths are the same way but we think it is a good idea to take a bath every day!

It is true that motivation doesn’t last. We have to renew it each and every day. That is okay. It doesn’t make motivation a bad thing. We simply have to realize that if we want to stay motivated over the long term, it is something we will have to apply to ourselves each and every day.

  2. Have a vision for your life.
The root word of motivation is “motive.” The definition of motive is, “A reason to act.” This is the cognitive or rational side of motivation. It is your vision. You have to have a vision that is big enough to motivate you. If you are making $50,000 a year, it isn’t going to motivate you to set your goal at $52,000 a year. You just won’t get motivated for that because the reward isn’t enough. Maybe $70,000 a year would work for you. Set out a vision and a strategy for getting there. Have a plan and work the plan.
  3. Fuel your passion.
Much of motivation is emotional. I don’t know quite how it works but I do know THAT it works. Emotion is a powerful force in getting us going. Passion is an emotion, so fuel your passion. “Well, I like to work on logic,” you may say. Great, now work on your passion. Set yourself on a course to have a consuming desire for your goal, whatever it is. Do whatever you can to feel the emotion and use it to your advantage!
  4. Work hard enough to get results.
You can build on your motivation by getting results. The harder you work, the more results you will get and the more results you get, the more you will be motivated to get more. These things all build on one another. If you want to lose weight, then lose the first few pounds. When the belt moves to the next notch you will get fired up to get it to the notch beyond that!
  5. Put good materials into your mind.
I can’t say this enough – listen to tapes. I still listen to tapes regularly. I buy tape clubs from other speakers and I learn and grow. Their successes motivate me to get my own successes! Read good books. Read books that teach you new ideas and skills. Read books that tell the stories of successful people. Buy them, read them, and get motivated! Buy great music and listen to it. I just did a spinning class at the club today. Whenever a good song came on I was actually able to get motivated to ride faster! It gets you going and motivates you!
  6. Ride the momentum when it comes.
Sometimes you will just be clicking and sometimes you won’t. That is okay. It is the cycle of life. When you aren’t clicking, plug away. When you are clicking, pour it on because momentum will help you get larger gains in a shorter period of time with less energy. That is the Momentum Equation! When you are feeling good about how your work is going, ride the momentum and get as much out of it as you can!

These are the top six ways to stay motivated:

  1. Get motivated every day.
  2. Have a vision for your life.
  3. Fuel your passion.
  4. Work hard enough to get results.
  5. Put good materials into your mind.
  6. Ride the momentum when it comes.

These are simple principles, that when you put them to work regularly, will change your life by keeping you motivated all the time! Get going!…

Richard Branson says now is the time to make your millions VIRGIN founder Sir Richard Branson says despite the gloomy outlook, the time has never been better to be like him. Sir Richard, a self-made millionaire, believes the economic downturn has provided entrepreneurs with their greatest opportunity in years, The Times reports. “Fortunes are made out of recessions. A lot of entrepreneurs get going in the economic depths because the barriers to entry are lower,” he said. “There are a lot of Richard Bransons that will come out of the next three or four years.” Sir Richard highlighted financial liquidity as the most important area for governments to focus on during the financial crisis. “We cannot allow perfectly decent companies to go to the wall just because they cannot get liquidity. And if your bank is behaving badly, then shout about it because no business can afford to lose that lifeline,” he warned. He also urged business leaders not to panic and cut jobs unnecessarily. Unemployment rose to 4.6 per cent in January with some of Australia’s biggest corporations, including Telstra, Pacific Brands and Lend Lease announcing thousands of job cuts in the past month. “That has to be an absolute last resort for any company,” says Sir Richard. Sir Richard also offered small and medium-sized business some tips on how to get through tough economic times. “You have to come up with imaginative ways of saving cash, like signing every cheque yourself. You would be surprised how much you can save even in large companies if the boss questions every purchase order that goes out,” he said. ——————— I absolutely insist on looking over a run down of every expense that goes out of my business every single day. That is not to say that I don’t trust any of my team, in fact I know each of them to be excellent at finding the balance between price, effectiveness and efficiency, but actually watching the money leave the business has it’s benefits. Not least of all is the fact that… Sometimes, it hurts! One of the simplest issues this daily practice overcomes is continuing to pay for products and services that are potentially no longer required or have been replaced by a different area of the business.

Five Attitudes that Will Make You to Soar!
thanks Chris Widener

Understand this: Much of your world, and your experience in it, will be a direct result of the attitude you choose to have. Let me break that statement down a bit:

One, it is MUCH of your world.
Yes, there are some things that just happen and there is nothing we can do about it, but much of our world is not by happenstance, but determined by the attitudes we take.

Two, your attitude is one that you choose.
You do not have to have a chip on your shoulder. You do not have to be sad or angry. You do not have to believe that you are incapable of achieving success. We can choose at any moment how we will believe and how we will interact with the world.

Third, our experience is a direct result of our attitude.
For example, if we have a bad attitude toward someone, what kind of attitude do you think we are going to get back? That’s just the people side, but that makes up most of our world right there!

So, if our attitudes determine to a great degree what kind of life we will have, shouldn’t we focus in on the best attitudes to have and then make them ours? Absolutely! If we want to soar with the eagles in this life, and if there are attitudes that will make us soar, shouldn’t we pursue them with all our hearts? By all means! So here we go!

Five attitudes that will make you soar!

“I can.”
This is the most basic of all attitudes. We simply must choose to believe that we can. In our house we are not allowed to say, “I can’t.” We can say, “I’ll try,” or “I tried and failed,” but not “I can’t.” Telling yourself that you can’t will in effect make it so you can’t. But telling yourself that you can will in effect enable you to achieve much more. Even if you actually only achieve 50% of what you tell yourself you can achieve, you will achieve at least that much more than if you told yourself you couldn’t.

I actually have a standard way of going about getting myself off of the starting block: I simply say if somebody else has, then I can too. And if many others have, then surely I can too! I have to be smarter than at least one of those who has already done it. I have to be able to work harder than at least one other. There has to be at least one other person who has come from more difficult circumstances than me. And if they can do it then certainly, “I can!”

“I will be generous.”
Another attitude that will make you soar is to be a generous person. The attitude (and discipline) of generosity increases your likelihood of success for two main reasons: One, you are happier about yourself and that puts you in a state of mind that is prepared for successful living. Two, people pay back people who are generous. Generous people receive in kind and that will raise you to levels yet unseen.

“I will make a difference in the lives of those around me.”
People who soar are generally people who have the attitude of helping other people. Yes, they may do it for monetary gain, but they are others-focused. They want to change the way people live and experience life for the better. They are difference makers all around.

I live in a town that is very affluent. Most of the people I know, work with, and have as friends are very successful in this world. One thing I can say, as almost a universal truth, is that to a person, they are people who are not self-consumed but genuinely care about others and will do what they can to help others. This is what I know to be true about the attitudes of the genuinely successful.

“Not much will make me angry.”
Whether or not we get angry is a choice of attitude. We determine whether or not we will be angry. I have found that often I will meet with someone who is struggling with achieving something and in many cases I find that they are angry people. They have held onto an attitude that is at its root angry. When we take on an attitude that raise the bar on what will make us angry, we are positioning ourselves to be in a state of mind that is better able to live and work in this world in such a way as to achieve success.

“I will look for the good in every situation.”
This is basic optimism. Successful people who soar through life are those who are optimistic about life. They see the good, think the best and strive for greatness, believing all the while that they will achieve it because it is possible!

I suppose there are a few other attitudes that would make you achieve all that you dream of, but these are the basics and ones that we would do well to master first.

Where do you see yourself? Do you need an attitude adjustment? Take a look again:

I can.
I will be generous.
I will make a difference in the lives of those around me.
Not much will make me angry.
I will look for the good in every situation.

Make these attitudes your goal and as you get them you will watch yourself soar!

Have a nice flight!

Again this is from Chris Widener

Remember the master teacher once said 2000 years ago, “Unless you can become like little children, your chances are zero, you haven’t got a prayer.” A major consideration for adults.

Be like children and remember there are four ways to be more like a child no matter how old you get –

1. Curiosity – Be curious. Childish curiosity. Learn to be curious like a child. What will kids do if they want to know something bad enough? You’re right. They will bug you. Kids can ask a million questions. You think they’re through. They’ ve got another million. They will keep plaguing you. They can drive you right to the brink.

2. Excitement – Learn to get excited like a child. There is nothing that has more magic than childish excitement. So excited you hate to go to bed at night. Can’t wait to get up in the morning. So excited that you’re about to explode. How can anyone resist that kind of childish magic? Now, once in awhile I meet someone who says, “Well, I’m a little too mature for all that childish excitement.” Isn’t that pitiful? You’ve got to weep for these kinds of people. All I’ve got to say is, “If you’re too old to get excited, you’re old.” Don’t get that old.

3. Faith – Faith like a child. Faith is childish. How else would you describe it? Some people say, “Let’s be adult about it.” Oh no. No. Adults too often have a tendency to be overly skeptical. Some adults even have a tendency to be cynical. Adults say, “Yeah. I’ve heard that old positive line before. It will be a long day in June before I fall for that positive line. You’ve got to prove to me it’s any good.” See, that’s adult, but kids aren’t that way. Kids think you can get anything. They are really funny. You tell kids, “We’re going to have three swimming pools.” And they say, “Yeah. Three. One each. Stay out of my swimming pool.” See, they start dividing them up right away, but adults are not like that. Adults say, “Three swimming pools? You’re out of your mind. Most people don’t even have one swimming pool. You’ll be lucky to get a tub in the back yard.” You notice the difference? No wonder the master teacher said, “Unless you can become like little children, your chances, they’re skinny.”

4. Trust – Trust is a childish virtue, but it has great merit. Have you heard the expression “sleep like a baby”? That’s it. Childish trust. After you’ve gotten an A+ for the day, leave it in somebody else’s hands.

Curiosity, excitement, faith and trust. Wow, what a powerful combination to bring (back) into our lives.

Thanks to Chris Widener (service@madeforsuccess.ccsend.com)for these fantastic thoughts.

In memory of Jim Rohn.  Your philosophies will endure for generations and you will be missed.

Why Do You Recommend Network Marketing?

Robert Kiyosaki’s Answer:

When I first heard about network marketing, I was against it.  But after opening my mind, I began to see advantages that few other business opportunities offer.

Long-term success in life is a reflection of your education, life experience and personal character.  Many network-marketing companies provide personal development training in those key areas.

Most schools train people for the E or S quadrants, and that is great if those are the quadrants in which you want to spend your life.  Most MBA programs are training students for high-paying jobs in the corporate world as an E, not a B.

What if you’re in the E or S quadrant and you want to change?  What if you want to be in the B quadrant?  Where do you find the education that trains you for that quadrant?  I recommend a network-marketing business.  I recommend the industry for people who want to change and get the necessary skills and attitude training to be successful in the B quadrant.

Being an entrepreneur and building a B quadrant business is one of the toughest challenges a person can take on.  The reason there are more people in the E and S quadrants is simply because those quadrants are less demanding than the B quadrant.  As they say, “If it was easy, everyone would do it.”

Personally, I had to learn how to overcome my self-doubt, shyness and fear of rejection.  And I had to learn how to pick myself up and keep going after I failed.  These are some of the personal traits a person must develop if they are to be successful in a B quadrant business, regardless of whether it is a network-marketing business, a franchise or an entrepreneurial startup.

An important personal skill required for any B quadrant business is leadership.  Are you able to overcome your own fears and have others overcome their fears in order to get the job done?  This is a skill the Marine Corps taught me.  As Marine Corps officers, it was imperative that we be able to lead others into battle, even though we were all terrified of dying.

I meet many people in the S quadrant, the specialist or small business owners, who would like to expand, but they simply lack leadership skills.  No one wants to follow them.  The employees do not trust their leader or the leader does not inspire the employees to better themselves.

As mentioned earlier, Forbes defined a big-business owner, a B quadrant business owner, as a person who controls a business with more than 500 employees.  This definition is why leadership skills are vial for the B quadrant.

Where could you find a business that will invest the time in your education, your personal development and building your own business?  The answer is: most network-marketing business.

Building a B quadrant business is not an easy task.  So you need to ask yourself, “Do I have what it takes?  Am I willing to go beyond my comfort zones?  Am I willing to be led and willing to learn to lead?  Is there a very rich person inside of me, ready to come out?” If the answer is “Yes,” start looking for a network-marketing business that has a great training program.  I would focus less on the products or the compensation plans and more on the education and personal development program the company offers.

A network-marketing business is a B quadrant business because it meets several criteria I look for in a business or investment.  Those criteria are:

  1. Leverage:   Can I train other people to work for me?
  2. Control:  Do I have a protected system that belongs to me?
  3. Creativity:  Will the business allow me to be creative and develop my own personal style and talents?
  4. Expandability:  Can my business grow indefinitely?
  5. Predictability:  Is my income predictable if I do what is expected of me?  If I am successful, and keep expanding my business, will my income increase with my success and hard work?

Isn’t Network Marketing A Pyramid Scheme?
I am often asked if network marketing is a pyramid scheme.  My reply is that corporations are really pyramid schemes.  A corporation has only one person at the top, generally the CEO, and everyone else below.  The following is an example of a typical corporate pyramid:

Compare that to a network-marketing business system:

A true network-marketing business is the exact opposite of a traditional business model.  A network-marketing business is designed to bring you up to the top, not keep you down at the bottom.  A true network-marketing business does not succeed unless it brings people up to the top.
Additional Points Worth Mentioning
The following are some other points worth mentioning:

  1. Tax breaks increase.  By starting a network-marketing business in your spare time and keeping your regular job, you begin to gain the tax advantages of the rich.  A person with a part-time business can take more tax deductions than employees can.  For example, you may be able to deduct car expenses, gasoline, some meals and entertainment.  Obviously, you need to check with a CPA for exact rulings on your situation.  And the cost of your CPA is tax-deductible.  In most cases, an employee cannot deduct CPA expenses.  In other words, the government will give you a tax break for advise on how to pay less in taxes.
  2. Meet like-minded people.  One of the advantages I had is that my friends also wanted to be in the B quadrant.  When I first started out, most of my E quadrant friends thought I was nuts.  They could not understand why I did not want a steady job or a steady paycheck.  So an important part of becoming a B is to surround yourself with other people who are Bs and want you to become a B.
  1. Give yourself time.  It takes time to be successful in any of the quadrants.  Just as it takes time to climb to the top of the corporate ladder as an E, or become a successful doctor or lawyer In the S quadrant, it takes time and dedication to become successful in the B quadrant.  It took me years before I built a successful B quadrant business.
  2. Network-marketing companies are patient.  One of the beauties of a network-marketing business is that it will invest in you, even if you are not successful.

In the corporate world, if you are not successful in six months to a year, you are often fired.  In the network-marketing world, as long as you are willing to put in the time, most companies will work with you in your development.  After all, they want you to get to the top.

  1. Leverage the systems that are already in place.  These systems are already tried and proven, which allows you to hit the ground running instead of trying to build the internal system of a new company.

In conclusion
After opening my closed mind, I could finally see some of the unique benefits the network-marketing industry offers people who want more out of their lives.
Generally, it costs much less to get started in a network-marketing company than to build a business on your own.

-Robert Kiyosaki

Donald Trump’s Response

Marketing is a powerful tool, and network marketing can increase that power, provided you are self-motivated.  In a simple visual, see a product and then remove the advertising agency from it.  It is up to you to do the marketing and advertising.

That’s a big job, but it can be done if you are passionate enough to get it going on your own and to keep the momentum and motivation going at a high level.  It requires an entrepreneurial spirit, and that means focus and perseverance.  I do not recommend network marketing to people who are not highly self-motivated.

Another important aspect of network marketing is that it is inherently social, so if you are not a social or outgoing person, I’d think twice about going into it.  Sociability is a requirement.

Just like in advertising, there’s no point in having a fantastic advertising campaign if the product isn’t equally fantastic.  Also keep in mind that if you decide to become a distributor, you will be legally responsible for the claims you make about the product, the company and the available opportunities.  But above all, make sure the product is worth your energy and total devotion.  Otherwise, you could be energetically spinning your wheels.

Robert mentions the importance of going beyond your comfort zone when it comes to network marketing.  He also mentions giving yourself enough time.  These are good points to consider.  I would also agree that having leadership qualities is critical for success.  You definitely have to have a take-charge, can-do attitude.

As with any other undertaking, know everything you can about what you’re doing before you begin.  Network marketing has proven itself to be a viable and rewarding source of income, and the challenges could be just right for you.  There have been some remarkable examples of success, and those successes have been earned through diligence, enthusiasm and the right product combined with timing.  As with so many issues we have discussed before, there are tangibles and intangibles involved, but success is not a total mystery, and that applies to network marketing as well.

Most people have heard of focus  groups, a research tool that advertising agencies use when they are testing a new product.  They will go out to different locations and simply ask everyday people what they like and don’t like about a new product.  Its best if you can keep the focus group idea close at hand when you are deciding about a product.  Just because you like it doesn’t mean everyone else will.  Finding a common denominator in product appeal will matter.

My nutshell advice about network marketing is to do your research and then put everything you’ve got into your product.  Genuine enthusiasm is hard to beat, and the odds will be with you.

-Donald Trump

You Can’t Achieve Success Living in the Past

achieve success

Boy, if only I had/hadn’t …… Life would be so different now.

If I were ranking emotions and mental activities in terms of usefulness, regret would be right near the bottom of the list. We all recognize that things would be different, i.e. better, had we done or not done certain things in the past, and some of those things can have pretty strong emotions attached to them. But there’s a big difference between that and the almost chronic hang-dog state of “if-only”. In fact, living in the past with “if only’s” is a primary reason people do not achieve success.

Regret is an interesting emotion: the person apparently feels bad about something they did or didn’t do. Some individuals feeling regret manage to make you feel bad in the process. So bad, in fact, that you go out of your way to make them feel better. You can definitely help some individuals, but you also come across individuals who never feel better no matter what you do.

To achieve success you have to look forward. Learn your lessons from past mistakes, and then let them go. And while you’re at it, let go of the mistakes others have made, too.

Learning how to let the past stay in the past is a vital entrepreneurial skill.

How very very true. We must realise that the future is all that we must focus on as the past is gone and can’t be changed. Learn from it and power forward and live a great life from here.

Thankyou Shane Krider and Polaris Media Group….I am forever grateful…Chrissy.
